What does the Treatment Involve?
On the day of your SculpSure procedure, a series of pre-treatment photos will be taken. You will then be placed on a comfortable reclining chair while the SculpSure applicator is applied to the treatment area. When the treatment starts, you will feel an initial cooling sensation- this helps keep the skin comfortable throughout the treatment. This is followed by sensation of deep warmth and or tingling/stinging sensation at regular intervals throughout the treatment. Treatments can be adjusted to the individual patient’s comfort level. If a certain area feels too warm, that particular laser panel setting can be adjusted to achieve a more comfortable treatment.
SculpSure is generally well tolerated, relatively painless treatment—so there’s no anaesthetic required & there is no suction required with SculpSure. A single takes 25 minutes to perform per treatment area, and afterwards, patients can go home and resume their daily activities.
What kind of Results can I Expect?
There is no recovery or downtime and no activity restriction required for the SculpSure procedure. Patients do experience some mild side effects after the treatment, but they’re only temporary and should dissipate after a few days. Some minor side effects include swelling, inflammation, temporary redness, warmth and soreness in the treatment area.
Depending on your goals and expectations, patients generally go for two or even three treatments subject to the amount of fat in the area and the desired degree of fat reduction*. Most people see the best results when they receive a series of treatments*. Some patients see results as soon as 6 weeks following fat reduction treatment, but optimal results are typically seen after 12 weeks*.
SculpSure is an effective fat reduction procedure, but it shouldn’t be considered as a weight loss procedure. In fact, it is recommended that patients should be close to their ideal weight before they undergo SculpSure.
