VIVACE RF Microneedling

What is VIVACE RadioFrequency Microneedling?

Vivace RF Microneedling is the newest generation of radiofrequency microneedling technology which stimulates the natural production of collagen to help soften facial wrinkles, fine lines and toning of the face, neck, hands and body.  Vivace offers a Three-Fold Approach to Skin Rejuvenation with the Benefits of Microneedling (Collagen Induction Therapy) + RadioFrequency + LED Light Therapy.

Collagen Induction Therapy is the process of creating precise micro-punctures in the skin to stimulate new collagen & cellular renewal. The combination of Radiofrequency energy is used to gently heat and tighten the skin’s deeper layers for electrocoagulation of the dermis to remodel your skin’s collagen & elastin even further.  Vivace also offers simultaneous pulses of Red and Blue LED Lights during the treatment (red stimulates collagen and blue disrupts acne bacteria).

Vivace utilizes a robotic motor with 36 sterile fine gold-tipped microneedles when delivering the treatment for a comfortable experience with minimal downtime compared to other similar devices. (Disclaimer: Downtime ranging from 6hours to 24hours – varies with an individual’s skin type)

Vivace can improve the appearance of:

  • Minimizing Pore Size
  • Improve Skin Tone & Texture
  • Tighten Skin
  • Fine Lines & Wrinkles
  • Minimize Acne Scars
  • Stretch Marks

What does the treatment involve?

Before your treatment, the treatment depth of your Vivace treatment most suited for your skin will be determined by your doctor, based on your skin type, sensitivity level and tailored to your specific area of concerns. Generally, a Full Face Vivace treatment will take 60-90 minutes. The treatment can be a little uncomfortable but topical anaesthetic (numbing agent) is applied 20minutes prior to minimize any discomfort. With a numbed face, the treatment is often described by patients as “light pressure to the face”.

Three passes will be made over the entire area at varying levels of depths. The microscopic channels created via Vivace will remain open for up to 6 hours. We do recommend you wait for at least 24hours before you apply makeup to maximise the results of your Vivace Treatment. If you absolutely have to wear makeup, please wait for at least 6hours before applying.  After the treatment, a hydrating face mask & soothing facial mist is applied to cool down the treated area. As with any skin treatment, sunscreen with SPF 40 or above should be used daily.

What Kind of Result can I Expect?

The treatment is generally well-tolerated. Following your treatment your skin may feel taut/tight and a little red, similar to a sunburn, which typically subsides over the next few hours (Note: if opting for a more aggressive procedure and deeper treatment depths after discussion and a consultation with the doctor, keep in mind that this may require several days of healing).

Most patients benefit from a series of three treatments spaced four to six weeks apart. The repetition of the procedure provides better and longer lasting results that patients are looking for; however, single treatments are available and can be suitable for qualifying patients.
